Is It Bad That the Main Character’s a Roleplayer?

I’m a roleplayer—the kind of gamer who builds an entire character around a single class and stays in character from beginning to end.

If you’re too embarrassed to fully commit to the role, then you’re not a true roleplayer.

“Keep talking. I’m curious how long you can withstand my wrath.”

That was exactly how I played every new game. And when I started the latest release, I threw myself completely into my newest character: a knight with a demon sealed inside his arm.

I immersed myself in the role and played to my heart’s content.

Then came the problem.

“Log out.”

「Command unavailable.」

“…What?”

“Log out.”

「Command unavailable.」

“…???“

That was when one horrifying realization finally hit me.

I was screwed.

I was completely screwed.
