The Forgotten Field

“I pray every day for this love to wither away, so that I can love you just until today, and that by tomorrow, this love will be no more.”

Thalia Roem Grta is a princess marked by misfortune, the product of a scandalous affair. Raised in a cold environment surrounded by indifferent parents, resentful half-siblings, and servants who scorn her, Thalia has built her defenses, sharpening her thorns against anyone who dares to approach. Yet, she finds herself utterly vulnerable in the presence of one person: Barkas Raedgo Sheerkan, the Prince of the East.

Barkas, molded by the harsh expectations of the imperial court and the burdens of being the heir to the Grand Duke, has grown up with his emotions dulled by a strict upbringing that borders on abusive. He lives solely for the honor and duty owed to his family. In a bid to fulfill a promise made to the late Empress, he agrees to marry Thalia’s half-sister, Ayla, leaving Thalia in a state of despair as her world begins to crumble.

However, the love she believed was doomed to die may just be on the brink of an unforeseen transformation…
