When Yuri Gable first rescued the young Ling Xinlu from the ocean, he never imagined they would meet again—let alone under the threat of a gun. Each time their paths cross, danger seems to follow, but it isn’t until Xinlu becomes entangled with the wrong person and loses both his first love and an eye that the two finally begin to open up to one another. Even so, their connection is complicated by Xinlu’s missing memories, as he has no recollection of being saved and instead remembers only a man who appeared to abandon him beneath the water.
